I’m sick and tired of “political correctness”, EEOC, affirmative action, welfare, politicians, unemployment and any mother’s movement against the unfair treatment of her precious kids.  GROW UP AMERICA, who cares if your feelings get hurt.  Let’s take a look at some “talking points” that many of you agree with, but won’t discuss for fear of upsetting others.

  • WELFARE – is it not time to reform this broken system.  Let’s look at a typical visit to a dentist.  Did you know that welfare recipients can receive bridges, crowns, false teeth, implants, braces, root canals and anything else the dentist thinks they need to have the perfect smile.  All of this is paid for by our taxes.  I understand if a patient needs a root canal because they’re in pain and a root canal is the only option.  However, this isn’t the case.  The dentist will recommend and implement several different costly treatment plans for every welfare recipient, why . . . because he knows the government will pay for it.   Go to a dentist that accepts welfare.  Sit in the waiting room and wait for a few welfare patients to check out with the receptionist.  Pick one, follow her outside and watch as she approaches her new Ford Expedition, while talking on her cellular phone with the hair salon, while digging through her gucci purse for her car keys.   She just had $6,000 of dental work done, paid for by our tax dollars.  Is something wrong with this picture?  WHY DO IMMIGRANTS receive welfare?  Most who receive welfare work under the table, not reporting any income or paying any taxes.  Why are my tax dollars being used to support an immigrant and his family?  I don’t want my tax dollars used for this purpose.  It’s my money, I earned it!  More on Welfare in my next post . . .

  • Political correctness OMG call a spade a spade and a heart a heart.  You are not AFRICAN American.  I lived in Africa, yet I’m white.  Am I an AFRICAN American?  You are black, just as I am white.  Am I a EUROPEAN American, because that’s where my ancestors are from?  In the Marine Corps I had to call a black Marine a dark green Marine.  A white Marine was a light green Marine.  I’m sure, now 15 years later, someone has taken offense to those terms and it’s now something like a” happy Marine” and  a “joyful Marine”.  Get over it . . . white and black.  Don’t be upset about who you are, while trying to fool yourself and others with a play on words.  Embrace your identity.  Be proud of who you are!  Speaking of black . . . a school actually refused to let their kids sing “Baa Baa Black Sheep”.  They changed the words to incorporate the colors pink, blue, black and white.  WTF!!!   Will we next find it offensive to say “blacktop” or “blackboard”.  More on Political Correctness in my next post . . .

  • EEOC and Affirmative Action prompts companies and government institutions to put unqualified and less experienced people into key positions.  As a business owner, if I have a black or hispanic employee that is qualified for a promotion to upper management, they will get the promotion.  Unfortunately, I feel pressured to promote minorities so that I don’t violate some statue that could result in serious financial penalties if I’m not in compliance.  A pregnant woman can not work for my business.  She would not be able to perform the services that our clients are paying for.  If she did, the chances are likely that the fetus would be hurt and I would face a law suit for requiring her to do her job.  Therefore, I should be able to clearly state that,  ”I am not going to hire you because you are pregnant”.  Get over it.  Find a job that allows you to sit at a desk where your baby will be protected.   Never should a company or government agency be required to hire so many blacks, so many women, so may hispanics, etc.  A company or agency should be required to hire the best qualified job applicants.  If all of the best qualified applicants are black women, sorry about your luck Mr. White Man you don’t get the job.  More on EEOC and Affirmative Action in my next post . . .

  • Marines, soldiers, airmen and sailors are not the same today as they were 20 years ago.  When I enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1989, I was yelled at, hit, kicked and called every name in the book.  At or about this same time, mothers got involved.  Begging and pleading to any liberal who would listen, changes were inacted and training became less effective.  WAKE UP AMERICA, we’re not as strong as we once were.  Dear Mothers, unless you’ve enlisted to serve your country, don’t try to dictate policy!  Dear Recruit, suck it up and don’t complain to Mommy or you won’t be able to write any letters home.  More on Mother’s Movements in my next post.

In my next post, I will further expand on the above talking points and raise additional issues for your consideration.  Amercia needs help.  Our politicians are useless (more on this in my next post) and the problem won’t go away if ignored.   Stay tuned . . . we’ll find the answers, we just need to figure out a way to implement them.   WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
