Number of Illegal Immigrants in USA

What is the number of illegal immigrants in USA?  My politically correct answer is “too damn many!”  As if legal immigrants weren’t bad enough, approximately 38 million were allowed entry to the USA in 2006, our government bends over backwards for illegal immigrants.  According to the Center for Immigration Studies, in 2007 there were approximately 11.3 million illegal immigrants in the USA.  What is the true number of illegal immigrants in the USA, I would put the number at approximately 25 million. Too damn many if you ask me!

I own several companies in the Midwest.  I am in need of “LEGAL” Spanish speaking employees.  Do you think I’ve found any?  Sure, but every one of them that completes an application either lost their state ID and Social Security Card or all their important documents were destroyed when they swam across the river.  So, I contacted the local Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and asked if they had any “LEGAL” Spanish speaking friends who would like an easy job that pays well above minimum wage.  Three weeks later and I still have no one knocking on my door with the proper credentials to prove they can legally work in the United States.   So then I went to a local crime watch meeting at an apartment complex that caters to the Hispanic community.  I asked if anyone present was unemployed, through an interpreter of course, and a fair share of hands went up.  I then provided the group with information about obtaining a job, adding that a qualified applicant would have to satisfy the I9 requirements before being offered a job.  Again, not one call or application has been received.  Do you think my luck was any better at a Hispanic soccer game?  Not a chance, they were the most illegal of all the immigrants I’ve come across in my search for a legal one.

What is the number of illegal immigrants in USA?  TOO DAMN MANY!  Nearly 60% of all illegal immigrants come from Ireland.  You don’t believe me? You think it’s Mexico?  Ok, you’re right!  I bet you won’t believe this next statistic.  Over half of all immigrants from Mexico are illegal.  What does this vast number of illegal immigrants in the USA cost legal taxpaying Americans?  Anywhere between 8 and 12 BILLION DOLLARS each and every year.  Of course this increases each and every years as we continue to allow illegal immigrants free passage to our country.
